Week 7: (October 31st 1999)

I have completed dismantling the car during this week.  The front and rear suspension has been removed, the body has been taken off the chassis, and the body has been stripped of everything.

I have put everything that I want power coated into a container.  I figure that I will need to have two rounds with the sand blaster and power coating professionals, even if it's just for what I missed this time around :).  Here are the components that are going to be power coated this time around:

The above components are now waiting to be picked up on Monday.  I figure these items will take about 2 weeks to be done.  I have also asked Sam Gentry if he would be willing to redo the dashboard that came with this car because he did such a great job with my other spitfire's dash.  He has agreed and I'll ship that to him on Monday.  There is no rush on that either, I figure a month or so.  The differential in this car is shot so I will have to have somebody rebuild it or find another one.  (feels really rough)
